There is a new JSU Transfer Scholarship for FALL Graduates. Please see the information below:
JSU Presidential Transfer (Spring 2016)
Must apply to JSU and complete the on line scholarship application prior to January 1, 2016. Must be in the 2015 Fall graduating class (awarding of degree is required); have a minimum 3.5 GPA from transferring Alabama Community College; and never attended JSU as a full-time student. The scholarship will pay 12 in-state traditional classroom tuition hours for the Spring and for the Fall Semesters only. The scholarship will not pay for the Distance Learning Tuition difference per hour. The scholarship is renewable for 1 additional year, total of 48 semester hours. The scholarship is limited to the first two years at JSU. In order to receive any scholarship you must be unconditionally accepted, and have submitted a scholarship application, official test scores, and any supporting documentation as required by the specific scholarship prior to the scholarship deadline. An official offer for the Presidential Transfer Scholarship will be made after the receipt of an official transcript. It must reflect the final graduation GPA and awarding of degree. Validation of the scholarship will be made after confirmation of graduation and GPA is made by the JSU Office of the Registrar.

To install, access our Gadsden State Respondus LockDown browser link here. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the new Google Chrome based version of Respondus LockDown Browser.

Click on the My Institution Tab found top left
Click the Add Module button directly beneath the My Institution Tab
Scroll through the various modules and locate My Messages
Click the Add button
That's it! You should now see the My Messages Module on your My Institution Page.
Student Support Services (SSS)
• SSS is a federally funded program that helps qualified students to be successful in college.
• All services are free to eligible students.
• Student Support Services is located on the top floor of Inzer Student Center.
• Visit our office and fill out a brief application to see if you qualify.
Who Can Join?
Students who are U.S. citizens and currently enrolled at Gadsden State may apply for SSS. The student must have academic need for our services and meet at least one of the following qualifications:
§ Low income student
§ First generation college student (neither parent graduated from a four-year college)
§ Have a documented disability
