Academic advisement for students interested in the GSCC nursing program will be held during group sessions only in Helderman Hall, Room 126 on the Wallace Drive Campus. Information & applications are available online 24/7 at www . gadsdenstate. edu. The advisement schedule is as follows:
Tuesdays, 10:00 - 11:00 AM CST
Wednesdays, 2:00 - 3:00 PM CST
Thursdays, 10:00 - 11:00 AM CST
Due to the high number of requests for appointments, we are no longer able to accommodate individual meetings.
Once you are admitted to the program you will be assigned a faculty advisor.

Student Support Services (SSS)
• SSS is a federally funded program that helps qualified students to be successful in college.
• All services are free to eligible students.
• Student Support Services is located on the top floor of Inzer Student Center.
• Visit our office and fill out a brief application to see if you qualify.
Who Can Join?
Students who are U.S. citizens and currently enrolled at Gadsden State may apply for SSS. The student must have academic need for our services and meet at least one of the following qualifications:
§ Low income student
§ First generation college student (neither parent graduated from a four-year college)
§ Have a documented disability

On Monday, July 24, come to the McClellan Center, Room 1228, to learn more about careers in Nursing and about the Gadsden State nursing program. In these group sessions at 10:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., you will learn how to apply, when to apply, what to expect, and general information about nursing as a career. If you are an Anniston area student who is interested in nursing, this session will bring nursing advisement and information to you!
